A HAIRCARE duo has shared some tips to combat thinning and make sparse areas of your scalp grow and look thicker.

WellCapped co-founders Shante Frazier and Lauren Mitchell developed the first rental platform for hair extensions and wigs.
With backgrounds in beauty and finance, the duo shared tips to fake a full head of hair and their go-to products with The U.S. Sun.

Instead of applying heat to our natural hair, the two women love to wear wigs and extensions.

A U-part wig clips in around the perimeter of your head and has a small opening or “U-shaped” section at the top or front of the wig.
This opening allows you to wear your natural hair at the top of the wig and blend in with the wig to give your hair a fuller appearance.
It also protects the rest of your hair from heat damage and exposure.
“With wigs now being viewed as an accessory, wigs are the best choice to switch up your look without damaging your natural tresses through color, heat, cuts,” Shante said.
