Jaymi Leanne Wall, a mother from the UK, explained how she used bargain buys from Amazon to give her hallway a total transformation.

Thrilled with her hallway’s overhaul, Jaymi took to social media to share a before and after look, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on DIY On A Budget, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Jaymi shared snaps of her beautiful hallway and explained that she tried out the viral draught excluder tape hack, which was also done recently by DIY enthusiast Laura Morrall.

Jaymi confirmed that she ordered two types of tape, both of which you can get from Amazon.

She nabbed the draught excluder tape, which you can buy for just £4.99, and the self-adhesive foam tape, which is only £5.94, to create her very own panelled display.

Alongside pictures of her DIY glow up, Jaymi confirmed: “I bought both tapes from Amazon.

“I ordered two rolls of each.”

Not only did she use cheap tape, but she also used paint that you can order from Amazon for just £19.33, as she added: “The colour I used is Soothing Clay by Johnson’s.”

Thanks to a few cheap buys, Jaymi was able to add style to her once very plain hallway.

Not only is it now super chic and trendy, but thanks to the draught excluder tape, which works to keep the cold out, it will help her home to stay warm and cosy in the winter too, without needing to constantly turn on the central heating

Social media users were left stunned by Jaymi’s DIY project and many flocked to the comments to express this.

One person said: “Looks amazing, love it.”
