WITH the wet and windy weather conditions over winter, chances are your patio is looking a little worse for wear.
But while many will fork out a small fortune on a jet wash in a bid to blast off all the green algae and grime, it turns out there’s a much cheaper solution from Amazon.
In fact, people are so impressed with the bargain buy, they say it “really is magic.”
Taking to TikTok, a homeowner named Indianna showed before photos of her patio which she says had turned “pretty green” over the winter months.
She then reveals that her go-to cleaning product is ‘Patio Magic,’ which she dilutes 4 to 1 with water.
The product, which is priced at £10.97 on Amazon and is suitable to treat your patios, fencing, driveways and all round hard surfaces, claims to “kill green mould in 2-4 days, and gently cleans the exposed surfaces in the weeks to come.”
Explaining how it’s “so easy to do,” Indianna says you simply put it in a watering can, pour it over the affected area and leave it to get to work.

She notes that there’s no need to scrub, but says she uses a broom just because she finds it easier to spread the solution over the patio slabs.
Indianna also goes on to say that the product can take up to two to four days to show results but praises how it “eats away all the algae and green mould.”
And she isn’t the only one to think highly of the product, with delighted customers rushing to Amazon to leave five star reviews.
“As a homeowner with a patio, paths, and driveway that were suffering from an unsightly invasion of algae and lichens, I was in dire need of a solution,” praised one.
