Amazon is never one to miss a beat, and as we enter the winter months, I’ve already spotted a decent deal on a cold-weather essential.
In high demand right now is the Dreo Electric Heater, which has seen a decent £22.50 slashed off the asking price.
In the last month alone, over 3,000 shoppers have purchased the bite-sized heater and as a result, it’s now claiming second spot on Amazon’s best-selling electric heaters list.
As someone who regularly checks these lists for deals worth snapping up, this deal stood out among the crowd.
Aside from gracing the top of the list, it comes on a brand we’ve seen before.
Our fellow tech reporter Rhys Melhado-Thompson spotted the Dreo Silent Desk Fan on sale back in the summer, with customers impressed by the ‘whisper quiet’ performance.
For less than £43, shoppers get the convenience of a corded electric heater that can warm up a room in no time.
It promises to deliver heat to areas up to 200% further than a traditional heater but with the convenience of moving it from room to room.
Given the cost of heating our homes with central heating these days, gadgets like this are a great way to save energy and money.
This Dreo model, in particular, comes with an ECO setting it says saves you around 40% compared to traditional plug-in heaters, so you can boost those savings further.
The freestanding device also boasts safety features, including a 12-hour timer and child lock, so you don’t have to worry about leaving it unattended.
That said, as many of us turn to electric heaters as a means to beat the cold and price hikes, it’s important to be on top of how to use them safely.
