A WOMAN has shared her £6 must-have buy after it stopped her phone from getting snatched by a masked thug in London.
Naarah was filming herself looking excited in a packed area of the capital after going to the theatre.
As she did so, a masked biker emerged behind her and attempted to grab her phone[/caption] A scuffle ensued – with the phone filming the whole time[/caption] Naarah said the only reason she didn’t lose her phone – which had her “life” on it – was because of a £6 buy[/caption]But as she held her phone out in front of her, a masked bike-rider emerged from behind her and attempted to grab it.
Luckily Naarah had the phone attached to her with a safety lanyard, so his attempt was foiled.
The TikTok video showed Naarah filming the happy moment, the man emerging from behind her, and then a scuffle as he attempted to secure the phone.
Speaking after the shocking incident, Naarah said: “It reassured me why I absolutely never leave home without my phone thing.
“Like I was so happy like after the show filming that little moment but I can’t believe I caught that on camera.
“If you’re coming to London small crime is so common here.
“Don’t take it for granted because it literally could happen to you at any point.”
She then urged people to buy one of the cords on Amazon, for just £6.39.
“I 100% recommended so you can keep your phone and your memories and your life close to you,” she said.
“I learnt first hand tonight.”
People took to the comments to ask Naarah to explain further about the safety device, as she explained in another video: “I didn’t mean for the video last night to be a product about this, but I was just so grateful that today I have my main phone which has all of my photos and my life and everything on it.
“And that’s because of having this which is £6 on Amazon.”
She then showed how the lanyard secures to the phone – with a sticker attached to the phone itself with the phone case over the top.
The lanyard can then be clipped onto the phone with the little ring.
“It’s really quick and easy,” she said.
“And then that’s it!”
