Beauty lovers are raving about the E.l.f. Power Grip Primer, $9.93 on Amazon.
According to the product description, it contains 4% niacinamide to help even out skin tone while giving makeup lasting power.
The niacinamide is supposed to “help smooth and brighten” dull skin.
The sticky texture is also supposed to help your face beat last all day for long wear.
It is a good choice for all skin tones and types because it goes on completely clear and leaves behind a dewy, glow after it dries.
The primer is very easy to apply because all you have to do is put it on your fingertips and gently pat it on your skin.
The warmth of your fingers is also supposed to help it sink in.
Let it settle for at least 30 seconds before putting your makeup on.
The grip primer is very similar to another popular one on the market.
Amazon shoppers say it’s a good dupe for the Milk Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer, $38, which has hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.
One woman wrote that it was just like it and rated it five out of five stars.
“Perfect dupe for so cheap! I actually like the consistency of this product way better. My makeup stayed on all day in the sun at my pool party,” she said.
“Deff an awesome dupe to the milk primer at Sephora. I am amazed by how amazing this product worked on my face. Lasted a few hours,” another said.

An Amazon customer called it “another winner for E.l.f.” and also gave it five stars.
“In the past, I’ve used the more expensive alternative to this product and loved it, but unfortunately I just can’t justify spending that much on cosmetics anymore,” they admitted.
“This stuff is very similar in feel – quite sticky/tacky – and applies just like the other brand.”
“My concealer stuck to this primer well but was still easy to blend out which was the biggest concern I had with a product of this type.”
A makeup artist said it was “better than high-end primers” and that is why she “always reaches for this drugstore gem.”
“I tried the viral Milk Hydro grip primer from Sephora and no comparison E.l.f. beats it!” she gushed.
She said she has used this on different clients of various ages and skin types and it “always performs.”
“Get it you won’t be disappointed,” she added about the beauty deal.
